When should I take a pregnancy test?
The free pregnancy tests administered by the Laredo Life Center are over 99% accurate and sensitive enough to detect pregnancy as early as 7 to 10 days after conception. Generally women take pregnancy tests after their first missed menstrual cycle.

Confirming a positive home pregnancy test

If you had a home pregnancy test and believe the result was positive, the Laredo Life Center would be glad to confirm your result with a free pregnancy test administered by a nurse. A positive result will allow us to provide you with a positive pregnancy test confirmation form that is accepted at other agencies. We will also talk with you about your specific situation and offer you our services as well as appropriate community referrals.
